Your purchase includes the selected high-resolution digital photographs and the usage rights below.
For the school.
A paid school purchase includes a perpetual, non-exclusive license for that school or team to use the purchased photographs in its publications, website, social media, promotion, yearbooks, and school displays. There is no limit on the number of these permitted uses.
- Print for school use and crop or resize for a school layout.
- Publish the photographs in school posts. Parents may share those posts.
- Give a file to a printer or designer working for the school only to produce those permitted materials.
The school license does not include giving away or selling standalone photo files or photo prints to families. Parents purchase their own personal-use copies through the parent gallery. Do not share the school download links with families.
The license covers the photographs purchased. Copyright ownership is not transferred.
For the family.
A parent purchase includes a non-exclusive license to download the selected photographs, make personal prints, and share them on personal social media. It does not include resale, commercial use, or school publication and promotional rights.
Keep your private download link private. Other families can purchase their own copies through the parent gallery.
Know what you’re paying for.
- School photographs
- $250 for the first team photograph and $100 for each additional school photograph, unless a different price is agreed and shown in your gallery.
- Booking fee
- The $50 booking fee is non-refundable, due on receipt of the confirmation invoice, and credited once toward the school’s photo purchase. At the standard price, that leaves $200 for the first photograph.
- Parent photographs
- The price shown in the parent gallery applies to each selected photograph. The school’s booking credit does not apply to parent purchases.
Submitting a booking request holds a slot while Reference Imaging reviews it. Coverage is confirmed separately by email. The booking fee alone does not unlock originals. Full payment for the selected photographs must be verified before downloads become available.
Cancellation & rescheduling
School bookings follow our main cancellation and rescheduling policy, including its applicable exceptions. The school booking fee is $50 rather than the general project deposit.
Send cancellation or change requests as soon as possible. We review the notice provided, work and expenses already incurred, and whether a mutually agreeable replacement date is available. Weather or safety concerns are handled through rescheduling wherever reasonably possible. A replacement date must be confirmed by Reference Imaging.
If Reference Imaging cancels for a reason within our control and the booking cannot reasonably be rescheduled, the main policy provides a refund for paid services not performed. Its other applicable refund exceptions and rights required by law also remain in effect.
Contact hello@referenceimaging.co with your school, booking date, invoice number, and the requested change.
Your originals, without the watermark.
Gallery previews are watermarked. Once payment is verified, you can download the purchased originals without the preview watermark. Digital purchases do not include physical prints.
Online downloads are available for 90 days after your purchase payment is confirmed. After that, you can always contact hello@referenceimaging.co for help retrieving photographs from our local archive. Include your school name and purchase email. Archive assistance is arranged personally; it does not automatically reopen the online gallery.
Save and back up your files when you download them. New download email links remain valid until the end of your purchase’s 90-day download period and can be opened once; after you open it, that browser has download access for up to seven days, within your 90-day download period. Those link limits are security measures, not the duration of your photo usage license. If a link expires, use Recover a purchase in the gallery to request another during the 90-day period. Afterward, contact us for archive help.
For a missing file, duplicate charge, or download problem, email hello@referenceimaging.co with your purchase email and school name. Do not send card numbers or passwords. We will review the issue and help resolve it. Nothing on this page limits rights that cannot legally be waived.
